Executive function, at its core, allows us to execute- or in simple terms: get things done. It is an umbrella term that refers to a set of skills and processes that allow us to execute through completion. In order to do this, students need to develop and apply a range of skills like planning, organizing, prioritizing, and initiating. This course is designed to support students in building executive function skills in a sustainable way by teaching these skills through interactive lessons, activities, and exercises which allow students to take an active role in the learning process. Students will build and improve their executive function skills through awareness, understanding, exploration, and application allowing them to be better equipped to make changes that stick.
